DATE values exported as binary
If “export binary data as hex” is checked whenexporting data, DATE and DATETIME field values areexported as hexadecimal rather than as strings. Observed with MySQL versions 4.1.4-gamma and5.0.1-alpha, running on IIS 5.0/Win2K. I don’t believe that this is the correct behavior, norcan I see it being useful, since MySQL is going to beexpect these to be strings for purposes of import.
