Using multiple picture materials to combine a cool war ruins scene, the effect is very exciting. Although it may be a bit difficult for novices to create, I still recommend everyone to give it a try. The materials have been packaged below, download exercises if necessary, and submit homework after completion.
Time flies so fast. In the blink of an eye, it has been almost a year since I last published a work. I have learned and grown a lot in one year. I am grateful to those who have helped me along the way. (Considering that it has been too long since there has been any bubbles, I took the time to write a tutorial to avoid being completely forgotten!!)
This tutorial will show you how to use PS to create a post-war ruined city scene composite. This is a novice improvement tutorial, for novices who are just getting started
It may be a little difficult, but how will you know your potential if you don’t try? Come on, friends!
(Friendly reminder: All values are only for reference. There is only one goal, but there are many methods. If you encounter something you don’t understand, you can communicate or search on your own~)
The final effect is as shown↓
Materials used for synthesis: http://www.16xx8.com/photoshop/sucai/2016/o86911.html
Step 1
Create a new canvas of 1500*870 size, place the vehicle 1 material and the dark cloud material. The red line area is the content we need
Use a mask to erase the dark cloud material and make the edges softer
Step 2
Adjust the ground material. The current material effect is too new and too bright, so we need to make the ground material older and darker so that it fits the post-war scene
Create a curve adjustment layer for the ground material. (Note: For the ground coloring layer, a clipping mask is created for the ground material to ensure that the coloring effect is only for this material)
Pull down the RGB curve, darken the whole, use the blue curve, add blue to the dark parts, and subtract blue from the bright parts. The values are as shown↓
The overall saturation is reduced. If the page wants to express a sense of loneliness, the overall saturation will be low. The values are as shown in the figure↓
Color grading artifact color search, directly create a new color search layer, try various effects in the 3DLUT file, and then select the appropriate color effect
If after completing the above color adjustment steps, the effect is still not up to expectations, then we can create a new overlay layer and directly use a brush to gently brush out our
Required color effect
The ground effect after adjustment
Step 3
Adjust the dark cloud material. The effect of the dark cloud material is quite good. The feeling of burning clouds is very suitable for our scene needs, so we only need to simply enhance the contrast between light and dark.
Step 4
Adjust building materials
Place the city building materials, create a layer mask, and use a brush to erase the edges to make the city coincide with the background.
After integrating the picture, we found that the color of the building is not very harmonious with the color of our scene. Our overall environment is reddish, while the overall color of the building is blue, so we need to adjust the building to reddish.
Create a new photo filter layer, create a clipping mask for the building layer, select the orange filter, and adjust the concentration to 32%
After adding red to the overall color, we found that the color of the building was still not very harmonious, and then we learned that the overall building was still too bright, so we used curves to darken the whole thing
Click, the method is the same as adjusting the ground
Use the lasso tool to select the car, then feather the edges, and adjust the color of the car individually (curve tool, color search, hue and saturation)
Step 5
Adjust broken car materials
Cut out the car body and place it on the canvas, adjust the size and position
Create a new curve adjustment layer, create a clipping mask for the car body material, and color it
The adjustment effect is as follows
Use the Hue Saturation tool to reduce body saturation
Create a new overlay layer, create a clipping mask for the car body material, and use the brush tool to draw the car body
The layer style is as shown in the normal mode
The effect of overlay mode is as follows
Draw a shadow on the vehicle to blend it with the ground
Step 6
Adjust character materials
Cut out the character material, place it on the canvas, and adjust the size and position
Create a new curve adjustment layer and adjust the overall color of the character (the values are as follows)
Create a new color search layer, select a suitable color filter, and polish the characters
Create a new layer and use a brush to draw the characters to give them a hand-painted texture
The smear picture is as follows
Create a new layer and use the brush tool or pen tool to complete the unpicked hair
Create a new layer and use the brush tool to paint green light on the goggles
Duplicate a character layer, place it below the character layer, and move it slightlySet it up, then add the color black, and then reduce the transparency to create a simple shadow for the character
Use the brush tool to draw ground shadows for the legs
Create a new color dodge layer, use the brush tool, and add a layer of light effects to the character
Step 7
Overall atmosphere creation
Insert the flame material, place it under the building layer, adjust the position and angle, and then filter the layer style (color dodge)
Finally, adjust the overall color, sign your name, save the output, and you’re done
