In many people’s perception, PS layer styles can only be used to modify some special text effects, or make some icons. But in fact, the layer style function is much more powerful than you think. For example, can you believe that the jade in the picture below was made using layer style P? Believe it or not, it is indeed made using layer styles. Isn’t it great? Let’s learn it together.

Tutorial begins
1. Create a new pure white canvas size: 800*800PX resolution 300PX
2. Create a solid color layer
3. Fill color – color code is #f2f45
4. Create a new rounded rectangle with parameters as shown below
5. The color of the rounded rectangle is as shown below
6. Press shortcut keys http://www.16xx8.com/photoshop/jiaocheng/110097.html “ctrl+T” to deform – expand – align the deformation degree of the rounded rectangle to fine-tune (adjust to achieve the effect you want)
7. Add “Layer Style” – “Shadow” to “Graphics” (effect 2 times)
Projection once. The parameters are as follows:
Projected twice, the contour parameters do not change. The parameters are as follows:
8. Add “Layer Style” – “Inner Shadow” to “Graphics” (3 times effect)
Inner shadow 1 time parameters are as follows:
Inner shadow 2 times parameters are as follows:
The parameters for inner shadow 3 times are as follows:
9. Add “Layer Style” – “Inner Glow” effect to “Graphics” – the parameters are as follows:
10. Add “Layer Style” – “Bevel and Emboss” effect to “Graphics” – the parameters are as follows:
11. Next, create effects for “Jade”
Find “Filter” – “Rendering” – “Clouds” in the menu bar – change the layer blending style to “Color Burn”
12. Create clipping Maskhttp://www.16xx8.com/tags/38847/ Shortcut key: Ctrl+Alt+G
13. Next – you can find a “small icon” at will – and put it on the “jade”, as shown below
14. Modify “Fill” to “0%” and the pattern of the newly imported icon cannot be seen in the picture. The effect is as shown below
15. Add “Layer Style” – “Bevel and Emboss” to the “Small Icon”. The parameters are as follows
16. Add “Layer Style” – “Inner Shadow” to the “Small Icon”. The parameters are as follows
17. Add “Layer Style” – “Projection” to the “small icon”. The parameters are as follows
18. Finally, create a clipping mask for the “small icon” http://www.16xx8.com/tags/38848/, and use “Curve” to adjust the brightness (this operation is adjusted according to personal preference) You can) create the clipping mask again, the effect is as follows
